SUMMARY:Local Nobodies Presents: Premiere Screening of "Where Death Dwells"
DESCRIPTION:  \nLocal Nobodies is thrilled to present our very first film\, Where Death Dwells—a hauntingly beautiful short film that stands at the crossroads of music\, film\, and artistic collaboration. \nThis film is a tapestry woven from the talents of Toronto and North Bay’s most boundary-pushing filmmakers\, musicians\, production architects\, and artists—a true celebration of intersectionality in art. \nAt the heart of it all is the collaboration between musical artist Skye Wallace and Writer/Director/Producer Lee Cochran\, whose vision and sound breathe life into a story that lingers long after the credits roll. \nAfter the screening\, Skye Wallace and special guests will take the stage for a live performance. \nThis screening celebrates the first of what we hope will be many moments of creative magic for Local Nobodies—and we hope you’re able to be a part of the celebration. \n📍Henderson’s Brewing Co.\n128A Sterling Avenue\n📅 Wednesday April 30th\, 2025\n   Doors at 7pm

SUMMARY:The Beachmen @ 3030
DESCRIPTION:THE BEACHMEN are surfing up and down the mean streets of Toronto and are shoring up on a stage near you. These 7 friends with their life long devotion to harmony\, are on the look out for the smiles that fuel them. The sun will feel warm in your face\, and you’ll feel the sand between your toes when they explore the sonic landscape that is The Beach Boys. This energetic and youthful take on classics\, and strict dress code harken back to the raw performances of the 60s\, and will tickle the ear drum of your soul as it pulses to the good vibrations. Come aboard with The Beachmen and see how the main sail sets. \nSURF WAX are Junction area veterans known for their 90s cover nights as SINGLES. Tonight they will be bringing a fresh set of songs from fellow Los Angelenos band WEEZER. Rivers Cuomo has no shortage of love for The Beach Boys\, once saying  “I didn’t listen to anything this year except Beach Boys’ Pet Sounds. It’s perfect.” He even credits IN MY ROOM being inspiration for IN THE GARAGE. In fact\, the original conception of the now renowned cover of the BLUE ALBUM was that they’d be in matching striped shirts “like the Beach Boys”. \n
